Pictures of Mellon Arena

Even when the Penguins are going down badly again you don't have to be bored as entertainment is provided at other locations inside Mellon Arena as well. Of course, one day the Penguins will be winning again (one would think so) and young fans can pretend to defeat their friends like the new Jagrs&Lemieuxs do on the real ice just a short walk from the concourse...

The roof and a banner showing the old colours of the team (blue and white before the team switched to black and yellow).

The jumbotron of the Mellon Arena during a game vs. the hated Flyers from Philadelphia.

At least good memories are still alive in Pittsburgh, where hope seems to be long dead...

Icy, who should be dead (remember "Sudden Death" with Jean Claude-van-Damme), is still around...

The bad on the left, the good on the right, the Penguins-fans all around...

The jumbotron is not viewable from some seats in the lower bowl at the far ends, therefore some small displays have been installed.

Heinz Field...

...and PNC Park: Even though the city was still able and willing to finance a new ballpark and a new football stadium there is seemingly no more money left for a new home for the Penguins.
