Cologne - Barcelona 2001
After our tour to Paris during the last summer Barcelona was our final destination this season. Even though six people wanted to take part in the tour only two people really ended up on the bike when the adventure finally started. Monetary reasons, a suprising move to Madrid and loads of tests at university are to blame for the rather low number of starters in the end but nevertheless the tour topped all expectations. The tour-report consists of a diary this year due to the fact that I already made tons of notes during the tour and ended up with some many stuff to write about that no I just decided to publish a rather big tour-report. Itīs worth reading for sure since more than anybody could have imagined happened, wether itīs being thrown at with stones, sleeping on a construction site, trying to cycle a 2.000 meter mountain that is one of the toughest stages of the Tour de France (Mont Ventoux) and so on......
